Halloween 2012

This year Halloween fell on a Wednesday which meant we got to attend the Trunk or Treat at church. The kids (well Aidan) were so excited to get to show and wear their new costumes. Abigail I don't think cared much and as you can see from the pictures I really don't think Adelyn knew what was going on. ;) However, we did have the cutest bunch of three. ;)

A handsome knight, beautiful princess, and lovable dragon

The work it takes to get a photo with these three. Just don't look too close. You may notice Aidan admiring his awesome sword in his own world, Adelyn loving the grass and yes, folks...Abigail sticking her tongue out for who knows what. (I just noticed that by the way as I was looking at this picture).

Ta dah! Look at that crew!

Trunk or Treat. Throwing balls in the bucket

Bounce house fun!

Adelyn's 1st Halloween!!

Although you can't really see what's going on (because the Mario guy takes the attention) but Aidan is at the top of this picture helping Abigail up these steep stairs to slide down the slide. It's noteworthy because he was the ONLY one helping (more like pulling) sweet, tiny Abigail up so she could enjoy the slide. It was some hard work on his part (since she kept stepping on her dress) and we were SO proud of what a good brother he is!
YAY!

WEE!

Such fun and getting tired!

Hotdog dinner!

So thankful for a great church that reaches out to the community with family fun events!!!

Pumpkin Painting!

This year we decided to do a little big (it's big when we get the paint out) craft with Aidan and Abigail. So here we go...

Wanting stripes on her pumpkin so I marked it off with masking tape.

Smiley face pumpkin

It then turned to finger painting

This moment quickly turned to...

This. I think her face says it all...

Oh, at this point...there was no stopping...
Why not keep going...

What more can we paint right?

Got to love it right!? I mean I said BIG right? Might as well capture as many moments as I can. There's nothing cuter than a toddler loving paint!

Happy Pumpkins :)

Zoo Day!

There are SO many benefits to homeschooling and I won't lie. I love it! Yes, there are difficult times/days but let me just tell you there is nothing sweeter than seeing your littles learn from each other, communicate better, and have a passion for learning. I love being able to see every step he is taking and as long as he loves being around his family (wink wink) why quit? ;) Another benefit is being able to take advantage of special homeschool days at different places, such as the zoo last week. We got in super cheap and were able to see how many more families are schooled at home and learn new things about animals. Thank you Nana for joining our adventure! :)

This kid loves maps!

Getting ready for the show. :)

The baby Rhino!! :)

A picture by the crane in honor of Kung Fu Panda Crane. ;)

Thank you Nana!!

The baby chimpanzee. Hard to see her but she was definitely amusing to watch!
Thanks to Nana's spray bottles, when we got home we had a little fun spraying each other. ;)

School rocks! :)
