A weekend getaway to Papa and Nana's house!

On the weekend of June 29th (that's how far behind I am) the BIG kids were so excited to spend the night at Papa and Nana's house without Mom and Dad. In fact, Aidan kept asking when we were leaving after we brought them and their luggage over. :/ Talk about makin' ya feel good right? ;) Well, after we shared the routines and how things run "smoothly" around the house we left. We left them to enjoy Chuckie Cheese (for their 1st time trip) and to watch Monsters University (the next day), which was Abigail's first "big" movie in the theater. And thank you to Nana for taking pictures I now get to share them with you! :)

Abigail wasn't quite sure about the robots behind her... ;)

Out of the 300 tickets they won they each picked a sucker!

Time with Grandma Cupp

Had so much fun!
When they got back home they were talking non-stop about their fun time and couldn't wait to do it again! In fact, Aidan asked when they could go again? ha! So lucky to have parents who love their time with our kids. Especially while making memories that will last forever.

Now before you ask what about Adelyn? Let me just say, she was glad extremely pleased to be the "only child" for a couple of days! She soaked in every bit of our undivided attention!! And we loved it!

Getting fed by Daddy? Sure! Why not!?

My precious time with Adelyn in the backseat. While she wasn't quite sure what to think at first, she quickly learned how much she enjoyed holding my hand and talking in the backseat together.

She thought we were praying when I first held her hand. ha!

Loving mommy time!

Her 1st trip in the Kroger car was a blast! :)

Thank you Papa and Nana for a fun weekend! We look forward to more times!! ;)

  1. What a great time we had!! After we got home from taking the "big kids" back home, we both commented how quiet it was around the house and we were looking forward to the next time! They both did great and we have some wonderful memories, too! Thank you, 'Mom and Dad' for letting them come to stay (and to Adelyn for sharing her big brother and sister with us...we are looking forward to when you are old enough to stay and play, too)!
    Love you,
    Nana (and PaPa)
