Last week we had a field trip at the Denton Waste and Management Center. It went really well as an employee, over their education, sat with them and explained all about recycling, how the trash machines sort and recycle. They even had a window in the learning room to see how the big machines work. She had books, helmets and glasses to try on (like the workers), and a few activities set up in stations for the kids to do. They had a lot of fun and us Mamas even learned a lot as well! ;)
It was a great field trip the week before our Earth Day activities!
