Last week the Awana Grand Prix took place. The kids were looking forward to racing their cars. Josh had gotten sick the weekend before so he couldn't work on their cars as much as he wanted but he did the best he could and the kids LOVED it. They loved every second of decorating it with glitter, buttons, and sequences.

So although their cars were a little slow making it down the track they each got a ribbon and hey! Aidan got 2nd place in Design meaning a trophy placed in hand. And the saying that we hear quite frequently (
that I taught them and wish I hadn't): 1st is the worst, 2nd is the best, 3rd is the one with the hairy chest...yeah, that one.
Do I get Mama points for teaching them useless sayings? Let's just say, he was definitely chanting 2nd is the best on this day! God's funny that way. ;)
