Adelyn's 1st birthday (part 2)

Well the second half of the party was pie eatin' and opening presents. :) Now while some a lot of the pictures seem repetitive I wanted to make sure our special girl didn't miss one second of how good that pie was. ;) Hopefully this will bring back memories when she's 30 right? ;) Enjoy!

"Happy Birthday to you..."

Her first delicate bite. She was quite the gentle eater testing it with a tiny first bite of  whip cream.

Oh yum! Sucking it off the thumb!

The whip cream is slowly but surely gone. :)

Here comes the blueberries!

Uh oh! It fell in her seat

But that didn't stop her one bit from digging and eating it. :)

All done!
She took her sweet precious time eating that pie and it was OH SO CUTE!

Watching the birthday girl eat her pie :)

What a day!

Her new princess tent!

Her new toys!

What a cutie! We had such a fun day and loved every minute of celebrating the big birthday girl! We look forward to many more celebrations with her. :) Thank you to everyone who made her feel like a princess!

Her one year checkup went great. She weighs 21.4 lbs (72%) and 29 3/4 inches tall (67%). She did a great job with her shots, however I was not happy about how slow the nurse gave them nor the bruise she left. :( I'm just thankful Adelyn slept well and did great the next day. For now, we need to work on her confidence in walking. ;) She has started to pull up to her feet but does not like walking along furniture. She's very hesitant and very comfortable claiming the title of "baby of the family." ;) For now, we're not worried as we know one day she will be walking and running soon. Enjoying every minute of our funny girl who keeps us laughing! She just fits in perfectly!
