It's time for the Candy Cane. :) Just a sidenote: with these crafts I've had to make sure these are both creative for Aidan (5 yrs old) and Abigail (2 yrs) and so far they have both enjoyed them. They've all allowed them to have freedom in creativity. Their favorite part of the candy cane craft was of course, THE candy cane as a special treat. ;)
Luke 2:8-9 says,
"And in that vicinity there were shepherds living [out under the open sky] in the field, watching [in shifts] over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened."
John 10:11 says,
"I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep."
