This year Josh and I decided to do our Christmas early (the weekend before) since we were traveling to Josh's parents on Christmas Eve and then having my parents over Christmas day. From experience we've learned it's just too much stress and a lot of preparation crammed into two days. So we decided to do it a little differently and it honestly worked out so much better. We wanted to give our presents first (since it would normally be on Christmas morning) and let them play with them a few days before getting a lot more. It seems they appreciate each of their three wise men gifts more since they have longer to play with them before getting new ones.
So here is a glimpse of Christmas Eve...
