7 months old to Adelyn!

Can you believe she's already 7 months? I feel like I ask that as each month passes by but it's just so hard to believe how quickly time is going. I remember hearing "old" people tell me that when I was younger or overhear them telling each other as they looked at me and brother growing up and now I know. Well first off, they weren't old (because I'm that old now) and it's TRUE! Time really does fly when you're having fun. And yes, this girl IS fun! I have THE best job in the world. The title of Domestic Engineer is truly remarkable. There is no greater job in the world than taking care of my home, sweet children, and my incredible husband. God gets the glory for it all!

And now we are here. Celebrating 7 sweet months of Adelyn Naomi Jones into our family.

Her favorite bouncy ball is this one (originally bought for Abigail...aka Supersmeller!. It smells and it's hilarious watching her play.

Adelyn is now weighing 18.6 lbs and wearing 6-9 month clothes (barely). She is a pro at sitting up and her favorite room in the house is Abigail's. She was sick for the first time last week and this poor girl does not handle it well. Her thumbsucking was temporarily out of use with a stopped up nose so needless to say there were some sleepless nights but we are SO glad that's over and she's back to her happy self. She does not like to be left alone in the room (even for a second) and is anxiously waiting for the day when she can catch up to her Bigs to play and run alongside them. What a joyous addition she is to our family!!!
