Yes, my friends. You see that correctly. I have failed. Number 1 because I actually and truly thought our lights were FROSTED! Um. No. They aren't. I was actually up by them to clean off the blades from the fans and low and behold after seeing my finger come away from the glass with grossness, that's when it hit me. Hard. Self, "Wow, Kristi. I wonder how many guests we've had over and who noticed? Surely they didn't notice and they thought they were frosted like me. Right? Yes. Surely." Of course, when Josh came in and the first thing he said was, "Wow! The lights are bright" (insert me telling him the TRUE story) and then stating he thought they were new lights. Hmm...
So dear people who have come to our home and noticed such dirty, filthy lights hanging over your head (hoping dust doesn't rain down on you while the fan blows),
I apologize for the lack of light cleanliness. And sincerely hope you didn't go home with dust in your hair.

PS. Don't worry. All lights (in the house) have been thoroughly cleaned within the following day.
So all that to say, I either grossed you out and you never want to come over OR you felt so much better about your home. Either way, feel free to come over for some sweet tea and I promise you won't be taking dust home with you. :)
