I don't know about you but I LOVE the smell of books. There's just something about them that carries memories. With all the new technology of the ipad and kindles, etc. it can be a little harder to get yourself to the library. While I think these are GREAT, I also choose to have my children actively checking out "ol school" books. :) So a couple of weeks ago, I took Aidan to his 1st trip to the library. And in the big process he got to have his very OWN library card that HE signed himself. Let me just say that watching him stand on the stool to reach the counter and sign that card was one of the cutest moments ever. He was SO proud of that thing and holds on to it like treasure. Today as we took back our first bundle, I realized I didn't get to blog about it! So I managed to take a few pictures of the journey to THE library!
Today at the book drop. :) Good bye books but hello new ones! :)

Let me rewind a couple of weeks and give you glimpse of his 1st time. :)
His 1st checkout stash. :) (Sorry it's sideways)
He even picked out a few for Abigail to read at home. :)
Reading time with Daddy.More reading time.
OH! And remember these things? The read along books!? He LOVED this time listening along, turning the page when it beeped, and learning about dinosaurs.
Aidan reading Hot Dog to Abigail.
He's rockin' his library card signature. :) (sleepy guy)
And back to today! Checking out his NEW stash! :)
And we're super excited about Wednesdays since that's Children's story time (with a craft) at the library. His favorite books to find are about dinosaurs...of course. :)
Watch out Kindergarten. Here we come! :)
