One of THOSE Saturdays

Do you remember as a child the weekends when you were home with your family and it was just relaxing. I'm not sure if it's this season that just triggers memories for me but when the sun shine's through our windows and brightens our house with natural light, hearing the humming of a fan, the sound of a neighbors lawn mower and stepping outside to hear birds or just smelling the fresh cut grass it just sends me back to when I was so young and had the only responsibility of being a child. All I knew to do was to take advantage of the weather and follow my parents steps. Today was one of those days Saturdays. We took full advantage and had a most splendid day.

We started mid morning with a walk around the neighborhood. (Or ride as Aidan would say) :)

Followed by a fun picnic outside. Then a restful nap for everyone.

Josh even spoiled me with these daisy's. :) I couldn't help but capture this sweetness with Abigail .

Josh decided to grill and cook dinner and it was delicious!! I'm so proud to have a husband with many talents and cooking is one of them!

After dinner we then enjoyed a family fun movie night and watched Hop. Such a cute movie!! The kids loved their special night! (I'm not quite sure why Aidan had his bible out but he did. :) )
