Delicious food and did I mention how pretty it looks!? :)
Loved the simple pom pom with some bling bling hanging above the food table. :)
The delicious strawberries!! :) (they deserve a close up don't you think? ;)
I can't even tell you how overwhelmed I was with how many sweet gifts arrived. We definitely didn't expect much but to see how much she is loved is so special to us.
A few of some favorite friends! (Crystal, Sena, Cherie)
Our big sister! :)
THE big brother! :) I'm sure he had lots of fun with Gramps and Daddy in his room. Can you tell!? ;)
This is so cute. Josh's mom had everyone stamp their fingerprint with pink and put it on a small flower and sign their name. The guys stamp with green and make a leaf with their name. Such a cute reminder how loved she is!
Again, we are SO SO SO thankful for the many gifts our tiniest Jones received and are overflowing with gratefulness.
My sweet and loving Mom! I'm incredibly blessed at how much she has and still does teach me. She has encouraged me through so many years and has set such a godly example in my life. Thank you Mom for the beautiful shower for our Lovebug!!!
My loving and always giving Mother-in-law...I think I need to change it to Mother-in-love since she really is my second Mom by choice of love. She is there at any given moment she is needed. We have gotten to grow closer through the years of being with Josh and has already taught me so much in serving others and so much more. Incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful mother-in-
And for a 36 week pregnant shot! :)
My hunky hubby!
And, I'm pretty sure the sillies hit us when everyone left. ;)
So... happy 36 weeks little Love!!! My appointment went great yesterday! The Dr checked for progress and so far I am 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, and she's at a -2 station. Making some progress! I received my last progesterone shot at the office. So she's on her own from now on. I know I keep talking about how ready I am and I am for sure on my physical state. ;) But I definitely try to cherish each special moment I have with her. It's neat to know that right now is the ONLY time I have with just her and me. I get to hog her and feel every movement, hiccup, and kick in a way that no one else shares. What a blessing I'm enduring (even through my tired and sore days) these last few days.
Your baby is gaining about an ounce a day. She now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. She's shedding most of the downy hair that covered her body, as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that protected her skin during her nine-month amniotic bath. Next week, your baby will be considered full-term.
