Yes, it's the middle of January and I'm STILL posting about Christmas! What can I say...it was a good one right? Since I've posted Christmas Eve and Christmas morning it only means I'm missing Christmas LUNCH! :) This year was special because instead of going over to my parents, my parents came over to our new house. :) With two little children and celebrating Christmas morning, we were thankful to get to stay at home and for understanding parents who know how special it is for our family to get to "rest" at home and enjoy the day with family. So Papa and Nana came over and that meant lots of cooking and our 1st full turkey to cook in the oven (which I happily let Josh take over...the turkey cooking I mean). And thanks to my mom for bringing lots of other delicious food over to enjoy. :) We enjoyed opening presents with each other and then eating a delicious lunch! Afterwards, my aunt and her son (and wife) came over to celebrate and ended the afternoon with pecan, apple, and pumpkin pie. :)
