Jones Academy - Horse Week

Well, WAY back in February (during her birthday month), we were working hard in school and Adelyn was so proud of her letter to Aunt Edna for her gift. We were even enjoying more story times on the floor (even with our "class clown." Can you guess who that might be?) We ended our Cow unit (C for Cow: "God's word helps me grow") with a dairy party. ha!

Abigail is busy using money to buy things in her grocery store during math time.

In the midst of school, it's important to get a veggie drink in for your brain. ;)

We also started our H is for Horse unit. "I obey right away."
The best part of our Horse week was actually getting to visit a small farm that teaches Horse riding lessons.  It was just us so we got to get up close and personal. Learning how to properly brush a horse, how to tie the reigns and put on the saddle, how to walk a horse, AND ride one!

Ah, the many perks of homeschooling right!? :)
