Sweet Adelyn,
I don't even know where to start. You are truly our sunshine. In fact, when you turned 2 we had a "You are my sunshine" birthday party and while you turned 4 you chose to have a yellow birthday because that's your favorite color. OH, and because you knew it was MY favorite color and our birthdays are together. That just shows how sweet and thoughtful you are. You are just so precious. You are always so kind to everyone you meet. If anyone asks for something, you just offer to give it up or offer to help. Such a little servant's heart. You make so many people laugh and you just love to make people smile. You LOVE school time. You love playdoh, playing baby dolls, coloring, reading time with me, swinging...oh swinging is YOUR thing. That's the first thing you run to outside and you are SO good at it. I always say, you are swinging so high you will touch the sky. You say, you are going to touch Jesus. Sweet girl. Your favorite book (currently) is The Seven Silly Eaters. You are our mother hen. I'm telling you, if someone is up to no good, I know I can always count on you to straighten it out or come tell me what's going on. I have a feeling you will be the one gathering up our family for holidays in the future. We are so proud of who you are and we just love every single part of you. Thank you for being our Adelyn Naomi!
Love,
Mommy

Good morning birthday girl! Adelyn was the 1st one up and one of my favorite parts of the day is to catch them sneaking down the hall and greeting them with a HUGE hug and a silent happy birthday (so I don't wake the others). Of course, she wants to check out her birthday stuff so we get some time alone to chat.

Birthday muffins for the birthday queen!
A new baby stroller!
