We went to see Gramps and Grama the next day after Christmas and spent the weekend there. Thunderstorms and all. Needless to say it was quite the weekend. After arriving, eating a few snacks, and opening presents we were pretty bombarded with emergency notifications concerning the weather. While setting up dinner, the town tornado siren went off , into the safety closets we went, only to discover there was an actual tornado that was 3 exits down! Yikes! So thankful for safety! We ended up leaving earlier than expected that Sunday since the weather was still gloomy and rainy. We didn't want to hit any floods or downpours.
Other than that, we enjoyed our short time with family and the gifts for Christmas.
