2015 Christmas Eve

I'm fairly certain Christmas Eve is just as fun as Christmas to me. I LOVE LOVE the next two days. There are so many fun things to do (if I plan the baking menu right and stay on track) and surprises. Seeing Christmas through the eyes of your own kids...well now I'm starting to sound like "old people"...well seeing it really is much better.
I even got up extra early to enjoy my quiet time with the Lord and peace of a quiet house before the hustle and bustle. AND...I get to set out the ONE present and a little extra surprise this year.

We even get to decorate sugar cookies! YUM! These are actually my personal favorite dessert around the holidays. ;)

The fun of sugar cookie decorating takes place!

Yes, can you tell?? That is a picture of relaxation on Christmas Eve! Hard to believe right? Perfect timing before Christmas Eve service.

Christmas Eve service at First Baptist Church in Denton. The kids enjoying a short children't message from our pastor. I love this time, along with all the Christmas songs.

Christmas Eve Pajamas!!!! Surprise!! Ha! They weren't QUITE as excited since they haven't caught on the tradition, thinking it was a super fun, new toy BUT they were still excited. ;)

And are you ready for the reality of trying to get an annual Christmas Eve PJ Picture!? Here you go!!

It only took Josh pretending to throw tissue paper at her. ;) Merry Christmas Eve!
