The beauty of homeschooling is getting to set up field trips whenever and wherever we want. In fact, this was one that happened to land in our A for Apple week. Perfect! We went to the Henrietta Apple Orchard in September and enjoyed our learning experience. We learned everything from how bees work, how they communicate, pollinate, and make honey. We also got to see how important they are to our environment. There was a tour of the property to see pond life, gardens, and the apple orchard. The kids loved it! The best part was getting to take an apple home afterwards. ;)

It was a HOT day but so worth it!
And that completed our A week (along with Fruits of the Spirit)
