Some of my favorite and stressful moments are in the kitchen baking with the kids. I love how much THEY love it. Did you catch that? ;) Anyway, our school year has been filled with some neat hands on opportunities and well, this was one of them.
We love when books have recipes in the back for us to use!
We've also made sure to have PLENTY of outside time since the weather has been nice.
See that? Yep, MORE baking! :) He made his world cake for his geography class!
We even used the city's Fire and Safety day as some great lessons. :) Aidan knows how to work a fire extinguisher!
And watching the Clowns on Fire program for kids to learn safety rules was a good laugh.
They even got to sit in a first response helicopter!
The coolest part was getting to watch them (while being so close) leave at the end!
Don't mistake it but she is learning right alongside us! With her lady like crossed legs and all!
Trail Life and American Heritage Girls had begun a few weeks ago. We were still waiting for Abigail's uniform to come in but a picture for the first night was necessary.
