First week of Jones Academy!

Jones Academy has begun and while we've been in session for a month now, I get to share pictures of our first day in school! I do like to keep the first few weeks "lighter" so it eases them into the school year. I mean we wouldn't want their brains to fry would we!? ;) 

I'm fairly certain FROG camp wore him out. ha! 

I love to surprise the kids in the morning with some fresh school supplies and personal goodies. This year, they got their notebooks, a special note from Mommy, other supplies and SMART water for school time. You didn't know SMART water can help make you learn better!?

And sometimes this is how it gets done.  A little under the feet play is necessary. :)

I know it looks like the same picture as above but it's not. I guess this is what happens when Mrs. Jones gets a hold of your brain! ;) He actually slept during naptime!

The first week of school for Abigail and Adelyn was learning the story of Creation.

They even made a book!

Well, those were some of the first few days and we are actually coming up on a week long break since I've decided to school year round. It seems to work better that way when we look forward to weekly breaks throughout the year and our brains won't go numb from the two months off. ;) In the meantime, we'll be enjoying LOTS of outside time, resting, cleaning, and heck, I may even catch up on the blog. ;)
