It's hard to believe how 10 years of marriage have passed. It doesn't seem that long. Of course, isn't it always that way? It never seems long until you see someone else's kids. HOW did THEY get so old!? Um. Hello, self. You've aged too. ha! Well, I like to imagine we haven't.
Back to our celebration of marriage. Josh and I had our wedding albums out on the table all day and the kids looked through them, we looked through them and just couldn't believe how "little" we looked! Break out the old wedding video and you have me asking Josh "Was I REALLY like that!?" "Look how skinny we were!" "We look so young!" Then you have the conversation after the kids have giggled through the wedding ceremony and gone to bed. That conversation of how it really has been a long time. We've been through so much together already. Talking about the memories. It's ONLY been 10 years. Can you imagine what our life will be like in another 10!? (Cue the Kristi tears of imagining our kids 10 years older and not wanting time to move forward) Finally, looking at your partner in life and being SO thankful for all he is and will be for our family. My best friend who does life with me. The man God gave me for life, to raise 4 beauties with, to laugh with me, to spoil me, to challenge me, to encourage me, and love me unconditionally. 10 years...
