Well when school ends extra early for the arrival of Amelia, it means we must get creative in continuing with our "school." Of course, our household never stops reading during rest time and in the meantime we added a little geography with Aidan's Leapfrog Tag.
And before Christmas we were setting up and getting ready for our traditional Jesse Tree. A great way to show Christ's genealogy from Genesis to his birth. Each night we read scripture and a short story with it and hang our ornament on the tree.

Josh did great on our Christmas lights this year! Thanks to warmer temps and great weather, he even added more to our little tree (left) and bushes. :)
And without school in session, Josh being home, you can bet there was some super fun for the boys!
Loving on her baby...
Enjoying our warm fireplace with marshmallows!
So excited to have found this rare jewelry! It was the only one left and perfect for our girls!
And the kids thoroughly enjoyed listening to books on CD. Lots more of this in the future!
My last pregnant shot at 39 weeks!
As you can see there were lots of things going on before Amelia got here! :)
