Well in May we had a huge leak in our bathroom and was only caught 2 hours later. So you can imagine what standing water looked like in our bathroom, closet, into 1/2 our bedroom, 1/2 of Abigail's room, and partly in the living room. Talk about a madhouse! Needless to say, it needed to be replaced and within a month we finally had new floors. In the meantime that meant on installation days, we were staying in a hotel. Let's just say...I. NEVER.want.to.do.that.again. It's not fun. It's crazy. And while I can sit here a little over a month later and love on our floors with our bare feet, I will never forget it and will forever hope any new house we move too will have new floors done BEFORE we move in. ;)
In the midst of it all, I will say there was some quality time in a little room with my little people...
