Last weekend, Josh was sick. He was SO sick for 3-4 days with a fever that wouldn't break. So Sunday afternoon he finally went to CareNow to be diagnosed with the flu AND strep. Poor guy! So thankful for modern medicine, 2 immediate shots, prescriptions, and that he was feeling so much better the next day (just needed to regain his strength). While he was down, that meant taking the kids with me to run my errands. And that meant a fun lunch at McCalisters (I might have justified it as treating myself for all the hard work I did) and an afternoon at the park...all while Daddy gets to rest with no background noise. :)
After the park we went to the library to pick out some books and came home to a good nights sleep. For now, we are SO glad Josh is back to himself!!
