This and That!

While I still need to gather the energy to blog about my 5k on Saturday (The Hot Chocolate Race in Dallas) and Adelyn's 2nd birthday party I will entertain you with our latest here and there events. :) 

As you know Valentine's Day is approaching and I've learned (since last Christmas) that in order to get the books you want to read, you need to check them out early so we've been celebrating Valentine's Day approaching for the last 2 weeks. :) Just a few books I want to remember for future reads (again)...

Abigail has been learning more about the letter N so these were a few books we enjoyed reading together...

 Aidan has been learning about money and totaling prices of items. He's so smart!

An old favorite and such a delightful read. I love how I can see the smile in his eyes as he's reading.

 A couple weeks ago we got more ice and snow!

 While Aidan enjoyed the outdoors, these girls loved snuggles and warmth...

 And since the ice skaters were on you can only imagine what two little girls will do...

We've also changed the layout of Abigail's room. Moved her bed out from beside her wall and put a nightstand next to it. While we are thinking of putting the girls together this summer, we know Abigail's been enjoying the new look for now. :)

Ah yes! A major accomplishment for me was finishing this race on Saturday (2/4) More to come on that one...

And you got that right...we are getting ready for our Valentine's Day party on Friday!

So as you can see we've been a bit busy lately with races, 2 birthday's, Valentine's Day, and parties but be patient! I'll promise to update soon!
