While the big kids were at Awanas last Wednesday, that meant I got Adelyn to myself. I think we can agree that us two girls love this time. We get to play with her toys, snuggle more, and get Mommy/Daughter special time (like I got with Abigail last year since Adelyn went to bed earlier). I really enjoy this time just to make her feel special and to cater to her little heart. She gets to pick whatever she wants to play with and do it with just me. This last week she got extra time in the bath and enjoyed playing and washing her baby. Good grief, it was ADORABLE! I mean, I recorded a 5 min video of her just washing and sweetly talking to her baby as she wiped the water out of it's eyes. These are the moments I NEVER want to forget and life moments were I'm left in awe of the Lord of His creative nature to create such a beautiful girl.

I know my mom enjoyed seeing me love my babies while growing up and as I get to see the glimpse of it now, I can only imagine what it's like being a grandmother seeing the legacy and blessing of motherhood being passed down. Girls are precious!
