How is it you are already two? The time has just gone so quickly. And maybe that's because you are our youngest. We are so proud of you. As I sit here and think of your uniqueness I will say it's hard to pick out every little thing about you mostly because your older siblings are always leading you this way and that, giving you toys to play with and in the midst you just tag right along. You take their toy so kindly and say thank you. You've always been a "Mommy's girl" tagging right along in the kitchen. You prefer to stay inside if the big kids are out (and I'm in) just so you can be right at my feet. Which reminds me of your priceless snuggles (especially after nap time when you want your fruit snacks and my lap to wake you up). You are wearing size 3 diapers, size 6 shoes, size 24 month clothes. You love bows, your tennis shoes on most of the time, and your little blanket and kitty and must have those to sleep. Adelyn, you are such a sweet little Mommy to your babies (just like your sister, Abigail). You love taking care of them and taking them for walks in your stroller.
In the last few weeks, you have changed so much. Your vocabulary has increased and your little sentences telling us your desires are just all over. I just told Daddy the other day how much you have just blossomed into your own little person. You now have no problem saying "no" to your big brother and sister when you don't want something or tattling on them when they did something to you. You have always made us laugh but recently you tend to make our cheeks hurt from so much of it. You are hilarious! And we think you know it. ;) You hear us laughing, look at us, smile, and keep on doing what you were doing just to hear OUR giggles. You are, in fact, turning into quite the leader and "boss" at times. In much of your seriousness to "demand" something, your big siblings only look at you with seriousness and most of the time just laugh because it is so new to them to see someone so little trying to be the leader in the play time. Luckily, they are both so precious to you and let you lead (for a short while ;)
We are so proud of you and LOVE LOVE LOVE you with all our heart! Your warm brown eyes and
Love,
Mommy (and Daddy)
