Jones Academy!

The week before Christmas didn't keep us from our learning as we closed the semester working hard on our subjects. We even did some Christmas activities together and ended our semester with a Christmas party with our friends!

Reading is fun with a flashlight!

Writing to Josh's Dad...

After learning about Jamestown and new settlements he got to make a simple coat of arms

Some of our favorite Christmas stories we've read last week as we prepare our hearts for Jesus' birthday.

While cooking supper I love when they choose to color while they wait.

Coloring their gingerbread men...

Precious craft we did together.

I found some jingle bells at Mardel and knew the kids would love using their bubble tongs trying to pick them up. We LOVE our bubble tongs to work on fine motor!

We also got a brand new magnet board and they enjoyed learning on that too.

Roll the dice nativity graphing

Sorting animals and people

Taking a sucker break!
And we enjoyed time with friends at our Christmas party. They watched the Polar Express, drank hot chocolate with marshmallows and cool whip with sprinkles (like the movie), played in their pj's (like the movie), and had a blast making our candy cane craft!

Dancing to Christmas music

Girl fun!

We are ready for Christmas break, baking, seeing family, and enjoying the TRUE meaning of Christmas!
