I almost wrote "My princess" but only to come to realization that she really is God's princess. While she may temporarily be ours, I can't help but give this sweet, precious, beautiful one to the Lord. She is just glowing while dressed up and loving every inch of pink and blue, ruffles, clip-on earrings, lace gloves, high heals, tule, headband, lip gloss, and sparkles. And most of all soaking in every bit of the lavishing attention while her mommy takes pictures, and her daddy ooh-ing and aww-ing over her.
What a beautiful picture of how the Lord loves us (regardless of how we are dressed). Enjoying the joy of our hearts on the inside, oohing and awwing over us. To see her internal joy overflowing that night was such a precious time for me. An awakening of how much the Father loves on me. That he sees us beautiful all the time and we truly are precious in His sight.

Such a beautiful girl! It is a bittersweet moment when you realize that "our" children were/are first God's gift to us and He knew all along who would get who to raise for Him. I suppose we're all serogate parents/grandparents. Thank you, Father, for allowing us to be in the presence of our "Princess Abigail"!
