This year we enjoyed our time on Christmas Eve night at our church's special service celebrating Christ's birth. We are so glad we did because not only was it a special time to worship the best gift of all, but we got to hear Aidan sing Joy to the World with his choir group. :)

Near the end, the children's minister had all the children gathered around on stage to tell the story of Christ birth, even in the season of "busyness." How we need to slow down and remember the real reason of celebrating and to enjoy all our gifts. :)
The very last song was Silent night and the kids got to hold a safe candle during the service. Very special!
When we came home we ate dinner and got ready to open our 1 present, get a bath, and then look at Christmas lights around the neighborhood! Can you tell how excited they were!? ;)

They each got new pajamas and a pack of hot chocolate (for the trip to look at lights) and loved them! :)
The kids were tucked in and it was time for Mommy and Daddy to stuff the stockings and say good night...
