Perot Museum

Sunday morning we woke up and enjoyed Toho's and fruit from Grama's kitchen. After some play time we geared up to eat lunch at El Fenix and head to the Perot Museum!

Sunday morning!
I had to sit in the back with Aidan so why not take "selfie" pictures with my little man! ;)

And since this cutie was sitting in front of me I couldn't resist capturing her precious face!

I'm so glad Josh's parents had already bought the tickets online or we would have waited longer. The parking was a beast in itself just having to pay and wait in line. However, it wasn't too bad and definitely worth it! The kids had no idea where we were headed since it was a surprise so when we were greeted with a dinosaur Aidan was jumping with excitement that we were in a "REAL museum!"

There was a tornado in the tube they could touch

They got to feel what an earthquake would be like from level 1 to level 3 (most severe).

All about rocks and gems!

My birthstone-Amethyst was huge!!

 All about oil drilling, etc.
 Animals!

 All about The Body

Outside on your way to the museum they had these huge xylophones you could play. So of course we made a stop to enjoy some music!

Even Josh had a blast! ;)

Such fun at the museum! I HIGHLY recommend going! We were only on the first floor when Josh and I decided how much we would love to go on a date just the two of us or even take just Aidan. There was so much stuff to learn and do that unfortunately we didn't have time or the space (crowded) to enjoy everything. It was such a great learning and fun experience for the kids. I'm sure you can guess which was Aidan's favorite part? ;) Abigail loved the animals. :) You can bet we will be back during the school year! :)

Afterwards Gramps and Grama decided to take us all out for Braum's ice cream. Yum!

Thank you Gramps and Grama for such a fun-filled weekend. Our kids had a blast and love each moment they get to spend with you both. We appreciate you taking us to Sea Life, Rainforest Cafe, El Fenix, the Perot Museum, and Braums! (Even letting Josh and I get a couple of hours for ourselves) We look forward to the circus coming soon! ;)
