Swim school!

With as many pictures as I uploaded and took during their two week swim lessons, I'm sure it'll make you feel like you were right there on the bleachers cheering them on. ;) I admit I maaay have gone a little overboard with pictures BUT as I'm sitting there, I can't help but look at my cute little ones in their tiny swimsuits just swimming away, thinking how they are so little yet big at the same time. Did I mention how cute they were!? Especially with all their little swim buddies. ;) 

Overall, they did well! They both passed their levels over two weeks (June 10-20) and could move to the next level. And after spending everyday at the pool with 20 min to get there it was a little draining and we decided on a break. We will revisit sending them to the next level at the end of the summer. :) 

Abigail was SO ready and SO excited to swim! She had absolutely no problem getting in the water, volunteering with a hand raised high to be the first one to practice the learned skill, and not wanting to come out. ;) She was so quiet during the lessons when the teacher talked to her but at the end had no problem telling the teacher she didn't want to get out. ;) Since her birthday was the 2nd day of swim lessons, the whole class sang the birthday song to her. She loved it with a shy face. ;) The teacher told me she was a quick learner for being so young (since the class was for preschoolers (3-4 yrs) and did wonderful with no hesitation to learn!

Aidan did great! After a rough first day (due to some chaos of staff and kids getting in their proper class) and being a bit hesitant of doing "Bobs" (putting head in the water and out again repeatedly) and not sure what was going on, he quickly got over it by the second day with awesome listening skills. Everyday the teacher would tell me he did great and was mastering everything. In fact, he was swimming by the end of the first week! YAY!

PS. Adelyn did just fine. After a couple of days, it was a daily routine and she enjoyed watching them swim along with some Mommy time in the bleachers. :)
