Abigail's 3rd Birthday!

Abigail decided for her 3rd birthday (months ago!) that she wanted a "Tangled" birthday. No matter what other options we tried to "rope" her into she stuck with it. Because you know, how fun that is to change plans a week before right? ;) So I was  eagerly waiting to plan (because it's my favorite Disney movie). I mean pinks and purples and princess everywhere!? YES! As much as I didn't want to "go all out" I miiight have let my ideas free roam. Thank goodness Josh was there to reign me back to celebrating Abigail and not Rapunzel (just kidding!). :) 

So the night before we made purple cupcakes with blue icing (cotton candy flavored) since that's exactly what she wanted. We also made sure there were plenty of balloons since that was a requirement made by your majesty.

I decided to hang balloons in front of her door so she opened her door to a surprise in the morning. :)

Her first gift from the Chastant family. She really really wanted the baby pink turtle we saw at Mardel.

 Later that day (night) we did our celebration so we wouldn't be rushed in the morning and since we were off to swim lessons later. After we ate dinner it was the birthday singin', laughing, chatting, good 'ol time. :)

Such a great birthday! 

I'm pretty confident when you start your birthday with balloons on your front door and a sprinkle doughnut, swim lessons, friends coming to play, cupcakes, presents, and a game to end the night...it's a great day to celebrate 3! 

We are SO proud of you Abigail and the little girl you are becoming! So thankful the Lord entrusted us with you....precious baby.
