Master Jones

Oh how he would LOVE to be called Master Jones now... ;) At least, that was the joke he would periodically tell when the day came of graduation.

Well folks it arrived! Ahh, seven years later. What started with a family of two ended with a family of five. During this journey, we have endured three moves, Josh received a teacher degree/license, began teaching high school science while being a youth minister, had career changes, endured the loss of our sweet baby Jones and other loved ones in our extended family, lots of studying hours, sacrifices, hard work, over 100 hours of classes, the births of three babies (Aidan being born two months early and in the NICU for three weeks), and did I mention sacrifices and hard work.

I can't begin to explain the toll it took on our marriage and even family at times but I can tell you with full confidence the Lord is who gets the credit for this accomplishment and goodness. He is the one that called Josh. Josh acted in obedience and our family in faithfulness. As much as we would love to say we know what the future holds for us...we don't. And we are so certain that it doesn't matter now. What is solid is God. God is the one who knows our future. We completed Josh's calling to seminary together and God will complete the work in us in leading our family to His perfect plan. As we continue to pray for God's will and our future, please join us. We are beyond thankful to get past this tough but rewarding journey and now look forward to furthering our family ministry and calling to be obedient and faithful wherever the Lord leads us. :)
