Busy Bags!

A week ago I enjoyed a weekend of fun with a best friend, Melissa. I'm so thankful for the time I got to spend with her because it was a much needed "Mommy" day and break from mommy duty. (So thankful for a great husband who understands that need I have) :) So that weekend, I participated in a Busy Bag Exchange Party. These are simple activities put together by a mom and shared within the group. We had 20 moms participate and came home with 20 new activities for Abigail. Each mom makes 20 of the same activity and we each swap for a new one. It was totally worth it! Abigail loves her new activities and I know Adelyn will too!

I made puzzles and as you can tell Abigail is loving it! These are such fun to work alongside her and be able to do her fun "school" time. She even asks for her school turn after Aidan. Love it!

Another activity she got was magnetic pom poms. We love using these on a cookie sheet. She's been learning to sort with colors, make letters using them, covering pictures. This is a top one.
This one is the button snake. She pushes the button through a piece of felt with a slit cut on top. She loves it. So does Adelyn!

Even Aidan loves the magnet pom poms. ;)
These are number cups and we are working on putting that number of pom poms in each one.

These are road shapes. Abigail takes her little car and drives them on the "road." A great way to reinforce her shapes and colors! :)
As you know these are not all the activities but I hope to post them as I slowly work through them. I haven't given them all to her because I want these to be new to her for a while. ;)

So as you can see, we've been having a lot of fun during school time!
