You know. I knew girls were going to be different than boys. I mean I had already knew when she was born. Like how much fun we would have painting our nails, shopping, getting pedicures together, buying lots TONS of girl clothes that are TOO cute to pass up when going to the store for something other than clothes, and general girl time. If you're a girl, you know exactly what I'm talking about. :) As much as I knew, I didn't. I didn't REALLY know until now. Okay I know I still REALLY won't know until each little step approaches and something new pops up like planning a wedding with my daughter or something crazy like that but let me just say KNOWING and DOING are completely different. Of course. I'm at the point where Miss Abigail is 2 1/2 and she is really watching her Mommy and wanting to be right there with her. She wants me for everything. Even going to the bathroom with her. Can you believe bathroom gathering started at 2 for us girls!? ;) I can still remember when Aidan hit this mental growth spurt and how he decided to start clinging to his Daddy more and just really REALLY observing him. Don't get me wrong he loves me (of course) but there's just something different with a son and dad and daughter and mom. Just like daughter and daddy is different than mommy and son. You get my point. ;) All this to say, I finally got to begin the journey of ROLLERS! Oh.my.goodness. Could it get any better (of course it will!)!? I treasure this time of plastic, foam rollers, and hair. Most of all, the sweet smile and girl talk that came right along with it. My heart is full.
Night 2 of rollers! :) Ahhh...imagine me smiling.right.now.
