11 months old for Adelyn!

Good grief, I could bring myself to tears if I let myself. I say this every month so I might as well say it again...can you believe she's already 11 months old!? How did it just whiz by? I think back to when it was just Aidan and how time seemed so slow with him but truth be told, once Abigail came along and now Adelyn, I myself can't keep up. I just want to go back to some of those younger days to just hold them again smell that new sweetness. The other day I was in Target and for some odd reason, I was physically drawn to the tiny baby girl clothes because it seems I've been in that section for so long now (since Abigail) and it was a big hit to me that I had to tell myself, "Kristi, you don't have any that fit in this size!" I had to go to the "bigger" (size 12 mo-5T) section. Of course, I completely and most certainly cuddled with both girls all afternoon as I got home. These years are going  quickly and instead of dwelling in it,  I will instead give you an update on our precious Adelyn Naomi.

She now weighs 21.8 lbs. (only 6 lbs lighter than her big sister!). She is crawling everywhere. She's pulling to her knees and although we have been trying to get her to her feet, she is very stubborn in staying on her knees. She will stand once someone places her on her feet but can't quite stay long enough on her own and will fall on her bottom, then cry because she wants to be on her feet again. I honestly thought she would be the quickest to her feet and walking but she has held true to being the baby of the family and taking her sweet, most precious time. In fact, we've been struggling with her not being in the room with me. She is SUCH a Mommy's girl that there are some very hard times letting me go into another room without her there. She won't let Josh feed her if she's seen me beforehand. I'm telling you this girl is "Mommy rotten." And to defend myself, this is NOT something I have done. ;) Promise!  I'm left with no answers on how to fix this problem. So any suggestions would be appreciated! :) She is no longer interested in baby food. She can sign language "all done" and "please" (on Mommy). She loves to dance, clap, and sing. She has added "Hi!" to her vocabulary and it's.precious! She makes us laugh when she puts her face in front of ours (when we aren't looking at her) for attention. She still has two teeth on the bottom but a top one is swollen. Her favorite is playing with Abigail and Aidan. They love to crawl around and she loves being chased. She currently just got over a cold and a yeast infection (on her bottom). Poor baby! So we are happy she's been herself lately. She is loving baby dolls. She does NOT like to be told "no no." Even in the most kind way of saying "no" she will full out break into tears. This girl has such an internal clock that when 5:30 pm comes, regardless she will let us know it's time to eat, bath, and bed by 6 pm. She sleeps until 7pm and is still taking two (2 hour) naps a day. If I think of anything more I'll try to update it later but for now, the most fun is seeing pictures right! :)

I know some of these may look the same to you but I see different facial expressions in each one and couldn't decide which ones to take out so yes, you get to see them all yourself. Feel free to save whichever (or all) ;) Some have blurry hands due to her playing and clapping but like I said, they were hard to delete. ;)

Happy girl!

Tired of pictures BUT look! 2 teeth! :)

Enjoying these last few days before turning the BIG 1!!
