As you know of last week, Aidan has been on "winter break" with school. With that comes time in the day (and lots of it) so I'm glad these fun crafts have been occupying them. (Even if Aidan is STILL asking for school and working through his workbook). This was our last one before Gifts. They enjoyed making their wreaths and they are proudly displayed on the mantel. :)
Green = Eternal Life
Red = Blood of Christ
Titus 1:2 says...
"in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time"
Luke 22:44
"And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground."
This one was a little different talking about the blood of Christ so I had to be really delicate with it. We talked about Jesus dying for each of us because he loves us so much so we could have eternal life (Heaven).
