Picture day!

Last week us Joneses had pictures. This is the day I look forward to and Josh does not. Simply said, and I'm sure you can imagine why each of us carry these fun dreaded opinions. Yes, it's hard work. I mean two  three little ones this year and it means more chaos and trying harder desperately to get every.single.person to smile at.the.same.time. So maybe Josh is right. This day doesn't quite seem as fun as the first time we had engagement pictures together. ;) However, we do these because 1. I love my family.2. We need new pictures with Adelyn 3. I need to update living room pictures 4. Family loves them 5. We get to look nice in public (like one of THOSE (cute) families)

I will say that we were very sad to have to do "studio" style portraits because I LOVE the outside shots and more casual setting but since our sweet friend couldn't do it this year we went with a free (thanks mom and dad!) offer from JCPenney (all through the month of November for anyone interested).

 Afterwards Josh decided to treat the family to actually going inside of a restaurant and sitting to eat. Then letting Aidan and Abigail play. It's a true treat folks when we get every.single.person out of the car and into a seat to eat.

So after arriving, taking everyone to the potty, making sure everyone's hair was doable, we were ready. Oh, and hoping our sweaty selves didn't look too bad after wrangling three children and desperately trying to get them to smile. I'm pretty sure we got our workout for the day.
