It's finally done. After many days of praying and thinking it through Josh and I decided to deactivate our joint facebook account. We are sad for our closest friends and family who we enjoy keeping up with through this media outlet but we also know the absence of it will be better for our family. Don't get us wrong, we have enjoyed having it and originally had it to communicate with our past youth group. However, it had just turned into a source of unlike Christ behaviour (source of negativity) and lack of authentic relationships. While we both think media is great, we also know this type of media has a major downfall (in the sense that it's easy to just check up on "friends" instead of having a true friendship). And sadly, we have fallen prey to it as well. That is something Josh and I have really been discussing together as a couple. Wanting to get back on track with relationships, even OUR own. So during this time we are just refocusing on our own relationship, along with rebuilding others (old school style ;). Plus, we know the relationships with a foundation will last. :) The best part, no distraction from our children or walk with the Lord.
