April Fools!

Can I just say this mama likes to have fun? ;) This year I made the kids jello (while they were sound asleep) and poured it into their cups, stuck a straw in it, and then chilled it overnight so they could thoroughly enjoy some yummy "juice" the next day. I just miiiight have been a little too excited as I waited to share in the fun and laughter. ;)

Let me just say it was a huge success! It could have been partly due to the fact that their cups had that outer layer of liquid so you could chill their cup so it totally looked like liquid was in it. Needless to say, they both tried SO hard to drink it until about 2 seconds later Aidan realized it was jello. We all had a good laugh and I won't admit that Josh had recorded the whole prank and I may have had more laughs than anyone. ;)

Of course, I couldn't be the only one with the prank so that night before bed Josh and Aidan planned a little "trickster" joke on me and layed a pillow ontop of the door so when it opened it would fall on me. Aidan LOVED his "trick" on Mommy and we ended the day with a great laugh.

Can't take life too serious or where would the fun be!? :)
