Pregnant Mamas and 37 weeks!

In this stage of life (having babies or even getting married) there's no other way to have fun with it than getting to share in that season with friends. I LOVE it! I have been so lucky and fortunate to get to go through these times with great friends and through these times been reminded that as moms and wives we are never alone when we are clueless about things or even make mistakes (daily). The joy in sharing encouraging words or scripture with godly women is indescribable. To go even further we get to share SO many laughs and smiles through life stories (that confirm we aren't alone) and even talk about things you would NEVER talk about with anyone else (pregnancy, etc.). Luckily I get to go through this season, not once, but TWICE with this sweet friend (from college). I even got a surprise visit yesterday as I was a tad discouraged from the doctor's visit. I believe He sent her at just the right time and day. So instead of a big fat cheesecake (I was craving), I got something better. A lovely friend. :)

Us and our girls that have a sweet friendship already developing. :) Since we took a belly picture when we were pregnant with Abigail and Savannah it was only fitting we do it again the 2nd time PLUS our sweet girls.

And...37 weeks = Full term! YAY!

Your baby is now considered full term, even though your due date is still three weeks away. If you go into labor now, her lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. She weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long.

Now for progress and my doctor's visit yesterday. The Dr. checked again for progress and I am dilated to a 3. Let me just say, I believe it. I do have my rougher times with pain and since she's settling so low to get ready it's getting a bit harder to do more around the house, sit as long, and sleep. Her opinion was she will probably come around the same time as Abigail (around 38 weeks) so that means just MAYBE this tiny one will be here by next Wed. ;) Here's to hoping right!? :)
